Meet Nir! Dr. Levy has many years of experience in the intersection between Industry and Academia. He is incubating services for Academia to digitally transform. In addition, Nir is engaged in academic activities from teaching in the Computer Science School in Tel Aviv University to hands-on research. He joined Microsoft in 2014 and is part of the Cloud and AI division. In his previous roles, Nir was VP of Technology Research in Amdocs and directed the research efforts in infrastructure efficiency and performance. Before that, he was VP of R&D for a successful startup company. Nir earned his Ph.D. degree from Tel Aviv University, focusing on pattern recognition and machine learning, and published many academic papers and patents. He is an avid Maker for many years and enjoys doing endurance sports.
