Meet Abed! A data scientist who has been powering products with AI capabilities for the last decade, Abed, or Dr. Asi, was voted one of TheMarker’s “40 under 40” promising people in the Tech field! To Abed, the most exciting aspect of his work is to solve real-life problems with state-of-the-art science, enabling Microsoft customers to unlock their business scenarios. But besides work, he has been very active in mentoring Arab youth through various platforms, helping them bridge over cultural and equal opportunity gaps. He has co-founded Medad, the first mission-driven community in the Arab society, actively working to integrate younger generations into various fields. To him, the most exciting aspect is to “empower Arab youth in realizing their potential, specifically, when it comes to the hi-tech industry”.
