We are seeking a Senior AI Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of enterprise-grade Edge AI solutions for Microsoft’s Adaptive Cloud and Azure Arc customers.
The ideal candidate is highly technical, hands-on, and comfortable engaging deeply with customers, including leading technical PoCs, requirements discovery, architectural discussions, and solution validation. You will bridge customer needs, engineering execution, and go-to-market strategy to ensure successful adoption of Edge AI solutions across industries such as manufacturing, retail, media, and IoT.
Microsoft is a global organization; this role involves close collaboration across time zones and regular direct engagement with enterprise customers and partners, both remotely and on-site.
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Own the product vision and roadmap for enterprise Edge AI capabilities, with a strong emphasis on scalability, security, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Identify B2B customer pain points through direct engagement and translate them into clear, actionable product requirements and priorities.
- Balance customer-specific learning with building repeatable, platform-level capabilities.
Hands-On Execution & Delivery
- Work closely with engineering to define, design, and deliver Edge AI features, from concept through production.
- Act as the product owner for end-to-end customer scenarios, ensuring requirements are well understood and technically feasible.
- Lead and support customer-facing technical PoCs, including defining success criteria, validating architectures, and incorporating learnings into the product roadmap.
- Ensure solutions align with Responsible AI, security, privacy, and enterprise compliance standards.
- Drive orchestration and lifecycle strategies for AI workloads in highly distributed, edge-based environments.
Enterprise Customer Engagement & Experience
- Serve as a primary product point-of-contact for enterprise customers, engaging directly with technical and business stakeholders.
- Lead requirements gathering, use-case definition, and solution discovery sessions with customers.
- Partner with field teams to support pre-sales and post-sales product engagements, ensuring successful adoption and long-term customer value.
- Capture customer feedback systematically and translate it into product improvements and roadmap adjustments.
Go-To-Market & Ecosystem Collaboration
- Partner with sales, marketing, and business development to shape enterprise-ready positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
- Support launch readiness, including pricing, packaging, and enablement for field and partner teams.
- Work with strategic partners and customers to validate solutions and accelerate enterprise adoption.
- Define and track success metrics across customer satisfaction, adoption, usage, and business impact.
- 6+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in B2B / enterprise products.
- At least 2 years of experience in AI/ML, Edge Computing, Distributed Systems.
- Strong technical background with the ability to lead technical discussions with customers, read and write technical specs, understand APIs, and work closely with engineering teams.
- Proven experience in end-to-end customer engagement, including requirements gathering, PoCs, and solution validation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Preferred
- Experience working directly with large global enterprise customers and complex production environments.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AI frameworks, AI model deployment, containerization, and cloud-to-edge architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating in highly technical, ambiguous, and customer-facing environments.
