Overview

We are a team of UX professionals spanning Product Design, UX Research, Content Design, Data Science, Technical Writing and UX Engineering. Together with our PM and Engineering partners, we create product experiences that are trusted, human-centered, and easy to use—enabling our users to manage, protect, and secure their digital environments with peace of mind.

We’re looking for a full-stack builder—a hybrid designer/developer who thrives at the intersection of design, engineering, and AI. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of secure, AI-powered experiences at Microsoft.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do 

  • Design and build front-end experiences using modern frameworks (e.g., React, TypeScript). 

  • Translate Figma designs into reusable, accessible components and prototypes. 

  • Partner with engineers to ensure seamless, high-quality implementation. 

  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development while preserving thoughtful, human-centered design. 

  • Advocate for user needs and design excellence throughout the product lifecycle. 

 

What You Bring 

  • Strong interaction and visual design skills, with experience in enterprise UX. 

  • Proficiency in front-end development and a passion for polished, production-ready UI. 

  • A growth mindset and comfort navigating ambiguity and complexity. 

  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to influence across teams. 



Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in product or service design 

  • OR Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design 

  • OR equivalent experience (e.g., experience using design thinking to solve problems).  

  • 5+ years experience in a variety of design tools (especially Figma) and processes such as journey mapping and design sprints/workshops 

  • 5+ years hands-on experience creating detailed wireframes (both low and high fidelity), polished design prototypes and other design artifacts in a fast-paced, cutting-edge technology environment  

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, design tradeoffs and shifting priorities. 

  • Creative and holistic problem solver with a sharp eye for details. 

  • Creating and applying established design principles and interaction patterns. Experience using design components and pattern libraries. 

  • Experience with Security domain. 

  • Demonstrated breadth across interaction design, information architecture, usability  

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and visual storytelling skills   

  • Able to scope and estimate efforts accurately and prioritize workload independently  

 

Preferred, not required: 

  • Awareness of inclusive design and how it supports Microsoft’s mission. 

  • Experience within the Security domain. 

  • Experience designing for Artificial Intelligence. 

  • Understanding of Large Language Model (LLM).
