The Global Channel Partner Sales team delivers SME&C growth and market share across AI Business Solutions, Cloud & AI Platforms, and Security within GPS by capturing total addressable market (TAM) and accelerating cloud growth at scale through our top Channel Sales partner. Our approach is grounded in Cloud Solution Provider acceleration, co-sell precision, and performance accountability—executed consistently across all solution areas and every stage of the MCEM Win Formula. As a Partner Solution Architect for AIBS Process you will guide Microsoft partners in adopting new technologies within the AI Business Solutions area, enabling them to implement these solutions for their customers. You will also support the development of practices within the partner organization providing technical expertise.This opportunity will put you at the forefront of new technologies introduced by Microsoft. You will work closely with our partners to develop business and gain a unique perspective on how AI Business Solutions grow on the customer side.

Business Impact
- Guides complex customers/partners towards a well-architected (e.g., secure, resilient, artificial intelligence [AI]-enabled), and cost- and performance-optimized solution to increase retention and expansion opportunities.
- Proactively identifies and anticipates new cross-solution opportunities for Consumption, Usage & Unified expansion (especially Enhanced Solutions) at scale based on business value to customer/partner and clear understanding of the Microsoft value proposition for supported platforms to empower cloud success, foster and strengthen security and resiliency, and drive AI innovation.
- Orchestrates and collaborates across Microsoft and customer/partner teams through on-strategy delivery to achieve customer/partner objectives and increase customer/partner satisfaction.
Partner Specialization and Technical Leadership
- Identifies and directs attention to multiple, strategic opportunities (e.g., launch deals) that align with revenue goals, and orchestrates growth of solution utilization pipeline with partners.
- Leads assistance with partner and sales teams to bring clarity to specific, complex opportunities through proof of concept and technical pre-sales support.
- Understands and anticipates solution area-specific market opportunities (e.g., competitor insights) and proactively leads initiatives to address them by supporting, assembling, and leading a v-team.
- Influences, challenges, and supports partners in developing scalable offerings, practices, products, and solutions, and investing and adopting new technologies at scale of the customer.
- Maintains active visibility in solution area-specific communities both to build credibility in internal/partner work and information sharing (e.g., technical updates, public facing roadmap) and to influence partners.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, sales) to provide field-based insights related to products/solutions related to functioning, pricing, implementation, and other areas.
- Leverages market insights and demand signals to assist leadership in identifying relevant areas in which to drive up-skilling and/or accreditations based on demand.
- Leads, mentors, and may assemble virtual teams (v-teams) around technologies and customer/partner challenges, sharing ideas, insights, and strategic, technical input with technical teams, internal communities across the field, and the larger v-team across Microsoft using knowledge of Microsoft architectures and their context in the competitive landscape.
- Participates in and leads external technical and non-technical community events (e.g., conferences, seminars, technical meetups, webcasts, blogs, hackathons) that elevate the Microsoft brand and shares learnings across internal teams.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND solid experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
- OR equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated Success in sales with hand on experience in either Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or similar platforms.
- Solid experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
- Extensive experience in complex consultative or solutions selling experience.
- Experience in working with partner channels including building and managing relationships with indirect channels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical innovation workshops, architecture reviews, and build-to-consume engagements with partners.
- Experience leading technical projects.
