Health ILDC is part of Microsoft Health & Life Sciences organization. We build cloud services on Azure to deliver technologies powered by conversational intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning and diverse algorithmic approaches, combined with health data and medical protocols.
We are looking for a Senior Data and Applied Science Tech Lead with strong analytical and development skills to join the Health ILDC team, reporting locally in Israel. The ideal candidate has demonstrated expertise in machine learning and is passionate about creating business value through building robust and performant cloud-based solutions infused with AI for the healthcare domain. They should be comfortable leading end-to-end ML/AI solutions development process, starting from understanding the business problem, through conducting deep yet agile research, and ending with production implementation of machine learning pipelines. The senior data and applied science tech lead will mentor other data and applied scientists, and work closely with software engineers, program managers and customers to deliver end-to-end solutions and promote innovative and disruptive technologies for the healthcare industry.

- MSc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years professional experience in Machine Learning / Deep Learning
- Proven record in leading large-scale ML-based projects with multiple data scientists
- Experience with NLP and/or Information Retrieval
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience in the Healthcare domain and/or biomedical knowledge
- Experience in leading and managing a team – advantage
