Senior Hardware Architect - Azure Core

Azure storage holds Exabytes of data and Azure compute hosts applications from the largest businesses, through governments to retail and startups. To keep up with the requirements of tomorrow’s digital data processing, our team is designing and implementing new FPGA-based accelerators. You’ll be working with motivated, diverse, and exceptionally creative people to design these FPGA accelerators and bring them to production. Your responsibilities will include delivering HW architecture for cloud acceleration products based on FPGAs and working with SW teams to define the best HW/SW interface and flows. You’ll be expected to drive new designs as well as support and optimize existing hardware.

Candidate Requirements:

  • B.A, M.Sc., or Ph.D in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 7+ years of chip design and HW architecture experience
  • Good understanding of HW verification methodology and testbenches
  • Proven track record of delivering complex HW designs to production
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Very strong communication and interpersonal skills (you will be speaking with people in Israel and the US and should be able to convey complex information in a way that's easy to understand)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to build functional models in C/C++ and/or python.
  • Familiarity with networking and RDMA
  • Familiarity with virtualization and hypervisors
  • Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions.
