With a rise in cyberattacks targeting small and medium-sized businesses, threats are becoming increasingly automated and indiscriminate, and striking at a significantly higher rate. To address this, Microsoft is investing in security solutions purposefully designed to help protect them.

Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, automatically analyze threat data across domains, building a complete picture of each attack in a single dashboard. With this breadth and depth of clarity defenders can now focus on critical threats, leveraging powerful automation to detects and stops attacks. Microsoft Defender for Business is a new product, specially built to bring our enterprise-grade endpoint security to small businesses, in a solution that is easy-to-use and cost-effective.

We are seeking a motivated Product Manager to help bring new & differentiated security solutions to this market.  You will partner with security, services, marketing, research and engineering teams to create, scale, and deliver new security solutions that are driven by innovation, quality, and reliability.

Customer focus: In this role, the Product Manager will work with external partners and customers on understanding/anticipating their needs and identify differentiated integration & innovation opportunities to solve the problems and delight the customers.

Product Definition: The Product manager will convert customer requirements into crisp, prioritized product roadmap, backlog, specifications with clear objectives and key results to measure success.

User Experience Design: The Product manager will work closely with designers and user research to bring intuitive, efficient experiences to life for admin and security personas.

Technical Excellence: The Product Manager is responsible for working with engineering ensuring that the product truth is grounded in technical excellence.  The PM will be expected to continuously identify opportunities for leveraging automation and AI at scale to help meet/exceed the scale, performance, security, reliability, operational efficiency goals for the service and business.

Data Driven Decisions: The Product Manager will be responsible for defining KPIs, ensuring every aspect of the service is instrumented and delve deep into the data to identify key insights and drive decisions based on them.

Collaboration: The Product Manager will identify and own problems and collaborate with partner teams to solve them. The PM will be expected to create an inclusive environment that brings a diverse set of ideas to the table to deliver innovative, high quality, timely solutions to the problems.

Operational Excellence: The Product Manager will work with each component team ensuring we have high confidence project plans and execution rhythm leadings to timely, high-quality delivery.



  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Product Management, or related fields

  • You have years experience in shipping technical products & cloud services as a product manager, program manager through cross-team collaboration
  • Security knowledge is an advantage
  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills
  • Experience with designing end to end systems

  • Data analytics skills and ability to drive data driven decisions
