Microsoft Clouds for Industry is a group of products that brings about the next chapter of innovation for our customers across a variety of industries. Our goal is to build and deliver productized cloud solutions that address real business problems on top of the Microsoft Cloud stack – Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365, enhanced with AI and Mixed Reality. 


Industry AI team is driving the development of AI based insights and embeds them across all Industry Clouds. To support the growth of our team we are looking for an AI Product Manager who will work to define and influence the delivery and productization platform for Microsoft and partner AI teams to transform data, build, host and deploy AI/ML models and ensure that AI based insights are embedded across all Industry Clouds.


  • Partner with local and remote product teams across Industry Clouds (Microsoft Cloud for Retail, Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare, Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services and others) to develop customer-centric scenarios that ethically and responsibly embed AI and ML capabilities
  • Partner with local and remote data science teams in developing a platform that will embed AI and ML capabilities in customer-centric scenarios
  • Become an expert and a key point of contact for the various AI/ML services and Insight platforms across Microsoft and bring together relevant capabilities to build a delivery vehicle for Industry AI
  • Provide clarity and focus developing and translating business requirements for engineers and help deliver exceptional products through detailed product specs
  • Support the envisioning, development and execution of the product roadmap for Industry AI platform and scenarios and communicate clearly about projects, risks, and accomplishments


We are looking for a seasoned professional with deep affinity for technology, data, and AI to drive the next step of innovation at Microsoft. In this role, you will join a new fast-growing “startup” within the company, and you will need to have a view and develop a holistic AI strategy and roadmap that combines innovation and a customer-first mindset.


The ideal candidate would be an experienced product manager, technical with strong background in AI scenarios, data platforms, data engineering and deployment of AI/ML models. Ideally, with experience delivering cloud-based platforms, team player, organized and tidy, with a positive, can-do attitude.  


More specifically, we are seeking pragmatic thought leaders with demonstrated experience: 

  • Developing products that are powered by machine learning and leading execution of AI-based innovative features and understanding of platform best practices
  • Leading product discovery with internal and external partners culminating in a structured approach for a platform and/or scenarios roadmap
  • Employing technical acumen, critical thinking, and collaboration skills to work with data scientists and engineers to achieve quick improvements and breakthrough capabilities
  • Influencing and driving clarity through strong written and verbal communication
  • Driving cross-functional projects and managing diverse stakeholders to achieve impact
  • Bringing together capabilities from across a variety of platforms or products to support a variety of data-first business requirements and scenarios

You have:

  • 5 years+ of product management experience in the Data and AI scenarios or platforms space
  • BSc or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical experience


Additional qualities and experience (desired): 

  • Familiarity with MLOps and data engineering platforms and processes for AI/ML workloads
  • Experience with public clouds and cloud-based AI platforms
  • Strong understanding of data and information architecture
  • Experience working with Data Scientists and ML Engineers
