(IHRM), organizational behavior and development. Have more than 20
years of experience in executive positions in international
corporations. For the last 16 years she is living in Peru.
Currently integrates both teaching and research academic“s
activities and consulting/mentoring in issues of cross cultural
management, HR strategy management and organizational behavior in
local and international environments.
Main research activities:
The success of local and international businesses in the global
world is measured also in the capability of leaders and managers to
develop and adjust managing intercultural skills and
behavioral, which will help them face the complex challenges in the
business, strategy and organizational level in a vast variety of
multiple, unknown and diverse of cultures.
The purpose of the presentation is to increase awareness and
understanding in organization in the global environment to:
1. The importance of the culture and the influence of
the cross cultural differences on the global business environment
in every field.
2. The importance of acquiring cross cultural skills for
achieving success.
3. The need of implementing and using models, tools,
technics and measurements to asses and develop intercultural
skills.
